Pear Tree Farm is traditionally built, with all the features one expects of a Derbyshire farmhouse, yet with the full range of modern amenities expected by international tourists, including internet access.
We have 4 double bedded en-suite rooms and 4 twin bedded en-suite rooms (one has a bath and shower) and one family room which has a double and 2 single beds with space for a put up bed and cot. The family room has an en-suite corner bath and shower. All rooms have tv/video player, towels, hairdryer and drinks tray provided with liquid soap and shower gels.
We have a large lounge with a woodburning stove, large tv/video/dvd player, a selection of books, videos and dvd's for guest enjoyment and music centre. We offer a BBQ by arrangement with gazebo if needed. We have a table and chairs to sit out and soft captains chairs for groups.
Our car park is off road and secluded. If you are a group and wish to use the art studio which overlooks Lea Brook, please ask when booking if this is available (at an extra cost). The Art Studio is a 20 ft x 30 ft wood building with tables and chairs (seats 15 people with own "fold away" table), drinks facilities, fridge and has its own toilet.
We serve traditional hearty English food with full and half board available. Special diets by arrangement. We can also provide special dinner/house parties, ably assisted by guest Chef, Andy Baston.
SELF CATERING
We offer self catering option for sole use of the whole guest house, please book early for this option. Accommodates 20 to 25 in extra put up beds if needed. We have a private off road car park, all rooms made up as for B&B, large lounge, separate dining room and small catering kitchen. Could be useful for family gatherings/reunions, etc.
There is a pub and restaurant in Lea village 10 min walk away with Matlock Bath 10 min drive, Tesco at Alfreton deliver.
GROUP BOOKINGS AND MEETINGS
Our tranquil but easily accessible central UK location, with a large car park and spatious surroundings, makes the Derbyshire Arts Centre at Pear Tree Farm the ideal venue for one day and residential business and group training purposes.
The Derbyshire Arts Centre Facilities, studio and meeting room with internet access, at Pear Tree Farm can also be booked for seminars and small meetings.

EDUCATIONAL ART COURSES AND HOLIDAYS
All our Painting Courses are taught by experienced professional established artists who provide structured teaching in their specialized subject. Charles Evans and Keith Fenwick have their own TV programme. Look out for contemporary artists Lewis Noble and Michael Porter with Rob Wareing (pastels and acylic) and award winning Roy Lang for seascapes in oils. Attend daily if local or you do not need accommodation
